So, here’s the deal, if any of the rest of you are up for this: let’s use this thread to come up with some BARE minimum stuff. A name, maybe, a place, some kind of event (BIG MAYBE!). Just some bare bones to get the beginnings, and then whoever wants to each runs with it and makes their own story up for posting a little while later. It doesn’t have to be a huge, sprawling epic about the triumph of the human spirit in the face of overwhelming odds, but it can be if that’s what you REALLY want to do. I’m thinking shorter is better, though, so that we can look at each of ’em as coming from the same sort of place and seeing where they all ended up. I’m game if you guys are…and even if you’re not, feel free to throw ideas at me, and I’ll try to impress with my 1337 improv writing skills.

Sure and this is no new idea…kids probably do this stuff around campfires, and unless I’m mistaken, “Frankenstein” started out something like this as well. Just seems like it would be a fun little time-spender to me, and I thought I’d see how you guys, gals, neuters, and hermaphrodites might like it.

These are the unifying elements that we all came up with:

• A lake shore late at night.
• A maggot-ridden dog corpse.
• A black and white photo of a murdered circus clown.
• A pipe.
• Self doubt
