Ginger Snaps: Unleashed (2004)

A sequel to one of the few good werewolf movies.  Usually this means that there’s nothing but pain in store, but not always.  Silver bullet or silver lining?  Guess you’ll just have to read the review.

The Last Man on Earth (1964)

How have I completely failed to do a Vincent Price movie, ever?  Time to rectify that as of now.

City of the Living Dead (1980)

Oz meets Italy in a movie about corpses that just don’t stay dead.  I bet you NEVER expected this!

Angel: Season One DVD Box Set

by Mblackwell on Oct.21, 2006, under Halloween Horrorama III (2006)

Of course you may have watched Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but did you ever sit down and watch the spin off show Angel? Canceled unexpectedly after 5 seasons despite its high popularity, some (myself included) say that it beats its predecessor by a long shot. With all 5 seasons on DVD you can of course check things out for yourself, but how exactly does the show (and the season box sets) rack up? Well, let’s just start with Season One.

Eternal Blood (Sangre Eterna) (2002)

A South American vampire tale that doesn’t involve a Chupacabra? Can it possibly be any good? Surprisingly, yes. Goths, don your capes.
