Star Wars: The Clone Wars–Lightsaber Duels (2008, LucasArts + Krome Studios for the Nintendo Wii)
I’ve always believed that gaming console technology would only truly have come into its own when we finally had a realistic Star Wars game, one that could truly capture the thrill of lightsaber combat. My assumption that this achievement would come in the form of a FPS game went unquestioned–until I started this bad boy up. Now we can fully enjoy the Star Wars universe in this enjoyable little fighting game.

Re-Animator (1985)
A compulsively watchable, darkly hilarious, nastily gross, and pretty much tasteless movie. Which I love–now find out why.
OK, sure I already told you why, but you still need to see this movie, dammit!

Drunken Revel-review 2.1: Sin City (2005)
Unspeakable and Oz find a hell of a contrast to their first adventure in revel-reviewing. All we can say is “Sin City” is awesome and you should see it. We may also be setting a new record for the number of times the word “awesome” or its derivatives are used in a single review.

Pearl Jam: Pearl Jam
Pearl Jam has been in a weird spot since their debut album Ten. They’ve constantly tried to branch out and experiment with mixed success, and they’ve gone through different drummers (Matt Cameron, former Soundgarden drummer being their current one since Binaural). They’ve shunned the mainstream, but are repeatedly pulled back in (the release of their cover of “Last Kiss” certainly didn’t help).
